Project REG-EX organizes a seminar on the exploitation, culture and possible uses of the seaweed in Atlantic European regions.

The purpose of the seminar is to interchange the practical experiences of the industry with those of the researchers, and informing the general public. The speakers will therefore be people from the industry and the research facilities belonging to the three regions of AquaReg plus two representatives from the region of Bretagne in France.

The provisional program of the seminary can be consulted in the attached document. Registration is free and can be made at the CETMAR website www.cetmar.org , limited seating is available.

The seminar is aimed at several sectors including the general public, as the theme is of general interest, but in particular it will be aimed at the attendance of cooperatives of fishermen involved in the harvesting of seaweeds, as well as the companies involved in the commercialisation of the resource, together with the public administrators and researchers.
