The preliminary results of the Aquareg projects will be presented at the Technical Conferences
The II International Aquaculture Exhibition ACUI2006 will take place in Vilagarcía de Arousa (Galicia) on September 5th -7th. A total of 118 Exhibitors from 18 countries and more than 6.000 visitors from 36 countries are expected to attend the second edition of this young" but successful exhibition. Last year the participants of the 1st AquaReg Forum and mussel farmers from Trondelag and Ireland had a very successful visit to the exhibition.
Among the activities that will be carried out during the exhibition, will be technical conferences during the 3 days of the event. On the 7th, the Galician coordinator of the AquaReg Programme, Gabriel de Labra, will make a presentation entitled European interregional co-operation in the aquaculture industry: initial results of the AQUAREG programme" giving a general outlook of the main results achieved through the AquaReg subprojects. He will also outline the very positive results achieved through the INTERREG IIIC Regional Framework Operation and the potential for future cooperation between the participating regions.
The new AquaReg brochures, with the subprojects information updated will be displayed at the Xunta de Galicia stand.
