AquaReg Successful in Extension Application
The AquaReg programme recently received notification of additional funding for a one year extension.
At a meeting in Stockholm on 29th June 2006, the INTERREG IIIC North Zone Steering Committee made the decision to approve additional funding for running of the AquaReg Programme. A total of euro 300,000.00 ERDF and euro 75,000.00 Norwegian national funding has been allocated to the programme. This can be seen as a clear indication that the programme has been successful in achieving its objectives," says AquaReg Steering Committee Member, Dr. Dave Jackson.
The Steering Committee has already received and evaluated 8 extension proposals from current sub-projects. The successful sub-projects will receive notification in the coming days.
